"Missed Opportunities, Part 2: Who Would You Be If You Were Paying Attention?"

Saturday, July 18, 2026

You have a plan for almost everything. Do you have one for loving your neighbor?

In Part 2 of the "Missed Opportunities" mini-series, host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) and his wingman Christy Mendelow pick up where they left off—and get practical. It is one thing to recognize a missed opportunity. It is another to figure out who you need to be so you stop missing them.

The conversation moves into the difference between what and who. Most of us focus on what we did wrong. But the deeper question is this: Who are we when we are not at our best—and who is Jesus calling us to be? If you are anchored to Him, your eyes open. If you take your eyes off Him, like Peter on the water, you start to sink.

Marines do not go outside the wire without a plan. They do not let the enemy choose their behavior. They act according to their mission, their commander's intent, and the values they serve. As a Christian, the mission is the same: love God, love your neighbor. The plan is what makes it possible.

Missed opportunities are not just failures. They are invitations to grow.

Listen in and find out what it looks like to show up with a plan—and become the person who does not walk past the need.

"Missed Opportunities, Part 1: What Has Your Attention?"

Saturday, July 11, 2026

Have you ever missed an opportunity to do something good—not because you didn't care, but because you were somewhere else in your head?

On a layover in Frankfurt, Germany, host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) walked past a hungry homeless man with a full meal's worth of leftovers sitting on the table behind him. He admits he was too caught up in his own disappointment to see the opportunity right in front of him. And it stayed with him.

In Part 1 of this two-part mini-series, Colonel Mendelow and his wingman Christy Mendelow open a conversation that is less about failure and more about what is possible. Small acts of kindness—a recovered voicemail, a volunteer EMT saving a life at a parade, cold drinks taken to men working outside in the heat—are happening all around us every day. The question is whether we are awake enough to see them and present enough to act.

James 2:14-17 makes it plain: faith without deeds is incomplete. Not because our works earn us anything, but because in our salvation, the desire to serve will grow. Loving others is worship.

So what opportunities are passing you by right now?

Listen in and be encouraged to open your eyes to what is right in front of you.

"Declaration of Independence 250 Years Later"

Saturday, July 4, 2026

250 years ago, men risked their fortunes, their families, and their lives to establish something the world had never seen—a nation built on biblical truth, dedicated to God-given liberty, and committed to the idea that our rights extend not from government, but from our Creator.

That nation is still here. The question is what we are doing with it.

In this special Independence Day edition of “Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow,” host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) —Marine officer, immigrant, and Jewish believer in Christ—and his wingman Christy Mendelow reflect on America's Christian heritage, what it actually means to live in a nation so uniquely blessed by God, and what Christians are called to do with the freedom that was secured at such great cost.

Liberty requires responsibility. The Supreme Court has affirmed this is a Christian nation. And if Christian Americans do not take their faith into every area of life, this nation risks losing the very foundation it was built on.

Although the weekend of fireworks and festivities has passed, take time to tune in, reflect on what this nation was built on, and find out what four practical steps every Christian American can take right now to be part of the solution.

"Real Faith for the Real World: Two Words That Change Everything—Series Finale"

Saturday, June 27, 2026

You know the feeling. You read something in Scripture, or feel called to do something uncomfortable, and then it starts.

Yes, but...

Yes, but the world won't like it. Yes, but it won't make a difference. Yes, but look at what everyone else is doing.

With this show, the "Real Faith for the Real World" series comes to a close—and host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) and his wingman Christy Mendelow get to the core of what it has all been about. Not yes, but—but God. Two words that change everything.

From a pitcher who wrote a Bible verse on his hat and held his ground, to Rosa Parks who simply said no, to Bunni Pounds who said yes to a vision that seemed impossible from the start—the series has shown one thing over and over. Real faith takes courage. And courage is not merely believing the Truth. It is living it, despite perceived or real personal risk.

So how do you walk it out? Tune in to find out—Richard offers four practical points to help you run your race, stay focused, and stop letting the world around you decide who you are going to be.

"Fatherhood: What the World Is Getting Wrong and What God Says"

Saturday, June 20, 2026

It is not your last mistake that defines you. It is your next opportunity to be the man God wants you to be.

In this Father’s Day episode, host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow and his wingman Christy Mendelow speak directly to what this day is really about. Not the cards, not the grilling, not the commercial version of fatherhood. The real thing.

The United States has the highest rate of fatherless children of any nation on earth. An estimated 18 million children are growing up without a father. Studies show that the vast majority of school shooters came from unstable or fatherless homes. The enemy knows exactly where to strike—and he has been striking there for a long time.

So, this is the question every man needs to sit with: Are you the man you want to be? Are you the father you should be? And if not—what is stopping you?

Whatever your past, whatever your mistakes, wherever you are right now—with Christ, there is always a next step.

Make time for a conversation that could change how you show up for your family.

"The Plank in Your Own Eye" Anger, Accountability, and the Man in the Mirror"

Saturday, June 13, 2026

The only behavior you control is your own.

The world gives you plenty of reasons to be angry. Scripture gives you a different instruction—take the plank out of your own eye first.

That is Matthew 7. And it is not a suggestion.

This week on the show, host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow and guest Pastor Steve Dennis bring one of the most downloaded conversations of the year back to the airwaves. Anger, integrity, and what it actually looks like to be a Christian in a world that is working hard to provoke you into being anything but.

Before you can be the man God is calling you to be—as a Christian, a husband, a father—you have to be honest about what is actually driving your thoughts, your words, and your reactions.

Is it Scripture? Or is it the world?

Make time for a conversation that will make you ask the hard questions about the man you see in the mirror.

"Real Faith for the Real World: From Normandy to Now—The Fight Between Good and Evil Is Far From Over"

Saturday, June 6, 2026

82 years ago on June 6, 1944, 160,000 Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy to fight pure evil. They didn't negotiate with it. They didn't look the other way. They stood against it at the cost of everything.

The battle between good and evil has not ended. It has just moved to different ground.

That same fight is playing out today.

Michigan State Representative Karen Whitsett stepped away from a successful political career because she could no longer reconcile her Christian faith with her party's platform. She didn't come out swinging. She stood her ground. And it cost her.

In this week’s show, host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow, wingman Christy Mendelow, and guest Jeff Egli use her story as a model—not a political one, but a Christian one. What does it actually look like to put your life in alignment with your faith? What does it look like to pull away from the mob, stand firm, and refuse to call evil good?

You don't have to be a politician to face that question. You face it every day.

Listen and find out what it looks like to stand firm when the fight between good and evil lands at your door.

"Real Faith for the Real World: Christians and Politics—It's Not What You Think"

Saturday, May 30, 2026

God's Word has something to say about everything happening in the world around you. The border. Transgender issues. The war in Iran. The legalization of marijuana. Every issue, every headline, every opinion.

So why are so many Christians forming their perspectives without it?

This week, host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow, wingman Christy Mendelow, and guest Jeff Egli take on politics—but not the way you might expect. This is not Republican versus Democrat. This is about what it actually looks like to bring your faith into the most contested conversations of our day. Real stories from the news, held up to the standard of Scripture, and examined for what they actually reveal about how Christians are called to think, act, and respond.

Colorado warned California. California didn't listen. The results were predictable. The Bible saw it coming.

Tune in and find out what Scripture says about the issues shaping our world.

"Real Faith for the Real World: Antisemitism - What Every Christian Must Know, Part 2"

Saturday, May 23, 2026

On Memorial Day weekend, we remember those who sacrificed everything—not just the years they lived, but the futures they never had. To honor that means standing for the freedom and the values they died to protect and one of the most important things every Christian must stand for is something most don't fully understand.

In this episode of "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow," host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow and his wingman Christy Mendelow bring you Part 2 of their conversation on antisemitism—and this one goes deeper. Jews and Christians are one family under one God. The original branches and the grafted-in branches of the same vine. A branch cannot bear fruit apart from the vine. And yet the house of God is under attack—from radical Islamic fundamentalism, from godless leftist ideology, and from the persistent ignorance that has divided Christians from their Jewish brothers and sisters for generations.

Hosea 4:6 says God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Antisemitism is taught. That means it can be untaught. But only if Christians are willing to stand up, seek the truth, and stop allowing the enemy to divide what God has joined together.

A house divided cannot stand.

Whether you are continuing from Part 1, following the “Real Faith for the Real World” series, or wrestling with what the Bible actually says about Jews, Israel, and what Christians are called to believe and do—this conversation is one you cannot afford to miss.

"Real Faith for the Real World: Antisemitism - What Every Christian Must Know, Part 1"

Saturday, May 16, 2026

Can a Christian be antisemitic? It sounds like a simple question. The answer will require you to look in the mirror.

Antisemitism is one of the most misunderstood and deliberately distorted topics in the world today—and host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow and his wingman Christy Mendelow confront it head on in this episode of "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow." Hatred of Jews is on the rise globally. Synagogues are being vandalized. Jews are being attacked on the streets of London. In the United States, plots to drive vehicles into synagogues are being uncovered. And behind much of what you see playing out on Capitol Hill and college campuses, antisemitism is at the root.

Colonel Mendelow, himself a Jewish believer in Christ, anchors this conversation in Scripture. Jews are God's chosen people. Salvation comes from the Jews. Those who bless them will be blessed and those who curse them will be cursed. Genesis 12:3 has not been replaced. God does not break His promises.

So what is behind this hatred? What is replacement theology and why does it matter to you as a Christian? And if you are honest with yourself—are there any wrong thoughts, wrong feelings, or wrong associations you need to correct?

The family of God is under attack. We cannot afford to be divided or indifferent.

Tune in now and find out what the Bible actually says about the Jewish people—and what it means for how you think, feel, and act.

"Real Faith for the Real World: The Truth About the Separation of Church and State"

Saturday, May 9, 2026

You have been told that faith has no place in politics. That the church and the state must be kept separate. That a Christian should stay in his lane. But what if that idea—the one you have accepted as fact—was never true to begin with?

In this week's episode of "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow," host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow and his wingman Christy Mendelow tackle one of the most consequential lies shaping this nation. The phrase "separation of church and state" does not appear in any founding document. It was lifted from a single letter written by Thomas Jefferson in 1802, taken out of context in a 1947 Supreme Court opinion that had no legal precedent, and has been cited in over 4,000 cases since—while the First Amendment itself has been cited in fewer than 3,000. That is not history. That is misinformation. And our children have been paying the price ever since.

Since prayer was removed from schools in 1962 and the Bible in 1963, divorce rates climbed, SAT scores dropped, and a generation was handed the world without the foundation to navigate it. George Washington said it plainly in his 1796 farewell address—national morality cannot prevail without religious principles. He was right then. The evidence is all around us now.

So the question is not whether your faith belongs in the public square. The question is how much longer you will accept the lie that it doesn't.

Listen now and get the history behind one of the most misunderstood ideas in this nation—and find out what it means to bring your faith into every area of your life.

"Real Faith for the Real World: Saying Yes to God"

Saturday, May 2, 2026

Saying yes to God is easy when the path is clear. But what about when it isn't?

In this week's episode of "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow," host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow and his wingman Christy Mendelow bring a front-row account of what happens when someone says yes to God without knowing where it will lead. Bunni Pounds had a vision to have the Bible read over the American people. She didn't know where the money would come from, how the logistics would work, or if it would happen at all. She said yes anyway. Fourteen months later, 475 readers and 122 ministries came together in Washington, DC. Colonel Mendelow was among them. Even the President of the United States read. For an entire week, the Bible was read aloud over this nation. And God, who promises to multiply what we offer Him, will do with that what only He can do. We don't begin to know what those yeses will produce.

That is what a yes to God looks like when you get out of the way and trust Him with the outcome.

So where is God asking you to say yes right now? Not to everything—but to the thing He is putting in front of you. Are you moving toward it, or are you waiting until it makes more sense?

The Bible says do it immediately. Not when you are ready. Now.

Tune in and find out what saying yes to God could mean for your life.

"Real Faith for the Real World: Every Word You Speak Has a Cost"

Saturday, April 25, 2026

You see it every day. The news, the commentary, the reactions, the words people throw out without thinking.

In this week's episode of "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow," host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow is joined by his wingman Christy Mendelow and guest Jeff Egli. They look at a real-world situation—the release of Dennis Coyle after being detained in Afghanistan—and what followed in the comments on social media. What people chose to say. How quickly it turned. How easily words were used to tear down a man most don't even know. It is a clear example of what we're surrounded by—and how quickly things can go in the wrong direction. Colonel Mendelow, Christy, and Jeff examine what unfolded—and the damage it does—through the biblical lens of God's Word.

What that examination brings into focus is something every man deals with—the weight of his own words.

You can't fight fire with fire. More words don't fix things. Scripture is clear: be quick to listen, slow to speak, and measured in how you respond.

Every Christian man needs to hear this conversation. Tune in and find out how to speak with the discipline of a Christian warrior.

"The Responsibility of Conflict: How a Christian Warrior Must Respond"

Saturday, April 18, 2026

When you live out your faith according to the Truth of God’s Word, you may find yourself in moments of conflict, because your beliefs will not always align with what others believe, accept, or promote.

When those moments arise, how do you respond? Do you stay anchored in the Truth, or do you find yourself reacting in the moment? Are you speaking in a way that reflects Christ, or getting drawn into something that doesn’t?

In Part 2 of the two-part series on understanding and managing conflict as a Christian warrior, the focus turns to the responsibility that comes with it. Understanding the context of conflict matters and so does how you choose to engage it.

This conversation walks through what that looks like in real life—knowing the Word, responding instead of reacting, and recognizing when to engage and when to step away. It also brings it back to how you see people, not as the opposition, but as those who may be lost and in need of the Truth.

Conflict, handled well, becomes an opportunity to reflect Christ in a way that words alone cannot.

Listen now and come away with a clearer understanding of the responsibility you carry in conflict and how to respond with conviction, discipline, and a steady commitment to the Truth.

"The Reality of Conflict: What Every Christian Warrior Must Understand"

Saturday, April 11, 2026

If you choose to stand firm in your faith, you will come into conflict. Not because you are looking for it, but because living according to the Truth will put you at odds with a world that rejects it.

So, what do you do when that happens? Do you step into it, or do you step back?

For decades, Christians were the clear majority in this country. Today, that number has dropped significantly and it raises an honest question—how did that happen? Did something take that ground, or did we slowly give it by choosing not to act when it mattered?

In this episode of "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow," the focus turns to something most people would rather avoid—conflict. Because when you live out your faith according to the Truth, you will find yourself facing opposition, tension, and moments where you have to decide whether you will stand firm or stay silent.

This show begins a two-part series on understanding the context of that conflict—why it’s happening and what it requires of you.

You don’t have to go looking for conflict. But if you are serious about living out your faith, you won’t be able to avoid it. The question is whether you are prepared to handle it in a way that reflects Christ—with clarity, conviction, and wisdom.

Tune in to gain a clear understanding of why conflict is part of your walk and how to approach it in a way that honors God.

"What is a Christian Warrior? – Part 4"

Saturday, April 4, 2026

You can listen to a series like this and agree with it, but at some point, it comes down to what you’re actually going to do with it. Because it isn’t about information. It’s about how you live.

You can see what’s happening around you. Things aren’t steady, people are searching, and a lot of what’s being offered won’t hold up when it matters. So, what’s the answer? Is it really about politics and systems, or is it what’s going on in the human heart? And if that’s true—then where do you stand?

Because being a Christian warrior isn’t an idea—it’s how you live when it counts. It’s choosing to stand firm, to stay grounded in the Truth, and to step forward when it would be easier to stay back. When that moment comes, will you be ready?

This episode brings “The Christian Warrior Series” together—what a Christian warrior is, why it matters, and what it looks like to actually live it out.

Don’t miss the wrap-up. Tune in now at CourageousChristianity.today, on KKHT.com, iHeart Radio, or on select podcast platforms.

"What is a Christian Warrior – Part 3"

Saturday, March 28, 2026

You’re making decisions every day.

Some small.
Some that carry real weight.

And what you rely on to make those decisions is shaping your life—whether you realize it or not.

In “What Is a Christian Warrior? – Part 3,” host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) and his wingman Christy Mendelow take this series to where it matters most—wisdom.

Because defining what a Christian warrior is, is one thing.
Trying to live as a Christian warrior is another.

And when it’s time to decide—when it actually counts—many men don’t stop to consider what’s guiding them.

This episode gets into that.

Not theory.
Not surface-level answers.

Clear, practical insight on how decisions are made—and why that matters for you, your family, and the life you’re building.

If you’re serious about living as a Christian warrior, this is a conversation you need to hear.

"What is a Christian Warrior? – Part 2"

Saturday, March 21, 2026

Last week, we asked the question: What is a Christian warrior?

We challenged the picture shaped by culture and began to look at what Scripture actually shows—a man under authority, living by a higher standard.

Now we take it further.

If that’s true…what does it actually require of you?

Is obedience something you’ve settled—or something you negotiate?
What does real commitment look like in your life right now?
Are you preparing—or just reacting?
Where is your level of zeal?

In Part 2 of “The Christian Warrior Series,” the host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) and his wingman Christy Mendelow move from definition to application:

A Christian warrior is defined by how he lives.

Obedience.
Commitment.
Preparation.
Zeal.

And the standard is not culture—it’s Christ.

So, here’s the question that matters: What does your life actually reflect?

Tune in to “Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow” now and gain clarity on what it actually means to live this out in your daily life.

"What is a Christian Warrior? - Part 1"

Saturday, March 14, 2026

What comes to mind when you hear the word warrior?

A man with a weapon?
A fighter driven by anger?
Someone who dominates others?

Or something entirely different?

What if a warrior is actually defined by discipline, humility, obedience, and strength under control?

What if the greatest warrior who ever lived did not conquer with weapons—but with the Truth?

In this episode of "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow," host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) and his wingman Christy Mendelow begin a new series examining a critical question:

What does it actually mean to be a Christian warrior?

Many people carry a picture shaped by movies, culture, or personal opinion. But when that picture is wrong, it affects how we see Jesus—and how we understand the life He calls us to live.

In the show, Richard and Christy take a serious look at the difference between the secular idea of a warrior and the biblical reality.

A true warrior is not driven by ego.
He does not answer only to himself.
And he does not act according to emotion or impulse.

A warrior lives under authority.
He holds himself to a higher code.
He serves something greater than his own comfort or ambition.

These qualities may appear in earthly roles of duty and service, but they find their fullest meaning in the life of a man who follows Christ.

Jesus demonstrated strength that was calm, deliberate, and unwavering in the Truth. He knew who He was, who sent Him, and the mission He came to fulfill. And for those who follow Him, that clarity changes how we live, lead, and stand in a confused world.

Listen now at CourageousChristianity.today, on KKHT.com, iHeart Radio, or on select podcast platforms and examine what a Christian warrior truly is—and why that clarity matters now more than ever.

"The Thinking of Men: Part Two"

Saturday, March 7, 2026

Picture a crowded high school lunchroom.

Noise. Pressure. Messaging from every direction.
Voices telling young men what matters. What’s right. What’s normal.

You would pray for clarity over that young man.
You would ask God to protect his thinking.

But here’s an important question: Are you any less surrounded?

If every generation insists it’s smarter than the last —
why does the thinking of men keep producing confusion?
If experts can’t decide whether eggs are good or bad —
why would you entrust your family to cultural certainty?
If philosophies shift every decade — what is actually anchoring you?

In Part Two of this series, Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) and his wingman Christy Mendelow move from exposing unstable thinking to confronting its consequences.

They examine stoicism, cultural trends, modern movements, and confident experts — and then hold them up against Scripture.

Not to argue.
To test.

Because every man is building his life on something.
The question is whether it will still stand ten years from now.

What are your children catching from you?
Are you filtering the world through the Bible — or the Bible through the world?

If you want to live anchored instead of reactive…
If you want to lead with conviction instead of impulse…
If you want clarity that doesn’t shift with culture…

The world is loud. Don’t let it shape you without examination.
