"The Battle for the Classroom: Why This Election Matters to Every Christian"

Fifteen people on the Texas State Board of Education are the gatekeepers for what 5.5 million Texas schoolchildren learn. Do you know who they are?

Kason Huddleston, running for one of those seats in District 9, joins Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) and his wingman Christy Mendelow in this episode of “Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow.”

Kason has been at every State Board of Education meeting for the last year. What’s being argued over in those meetings will surprise you, from the Alamo to 9/11. And getting the Bible into Texas classrooms? That came down to one vote.

With the 2026 midterms days away and early voting underway, every Christian parent and grandparent needs to hear this before heading to the polls.

As Kason puts it, “If we don’t teach our children the truth, somebody else will teach them a lie.”

Do you know what your children and grandchildren are being taught?

And Colonel Mendelow makes the case that no Christian can afford to sit out this election. Will you?
