The Thorn tells the story of Jesus and the epic, spiritual battle for hearts and minds. The story begins with the creation of the world, and waves through time, highlighting the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus, ending with the formation of the early church. The Thorn is told predominantly through the lens of John the Beloved as we experience his memories. The Thorn is a powerful and emotional stage presentation of The Gospel, using narration, drama, dance, stunts, aerial arts and visual effects. The Thorn is a spectacular event, those who have seen it say it’s the Bible meets Cirque de Soleil, with biblical accuracy and impact. Show is 2 hours and 30 minutes with a 15 minute intermission. The show is recommended for ages 12 and up (due to the graphic nature of the crucifixion and implied suicide). For over 15 years, The Thorn has partnered with Compassion International and believes that the work that Compassion does extends the story of Jesus beyond the walls of the theater. The Thorn is touring in 21 cities this Spring and has toured nationally for the past 20 years. Thursday, March 12th, 7pm; Friday, March 13th, 7pm and Saturday, March 14th, 1pm and 7pm.
