<p>A group of talented vocalists at Disney’s EPCOT demonstrated their awe-inspiring gifts with a touching performance of a patriotic, Civil War-era tune, the “Battle Hymn of the Republic.”</p>

<p>Anyone who has visited Disney World in Central Florida is more than familiar with EPCOT. Of the four Disney theme parks in the Sunshine State, EPCOT is geared more toward giving its visitors an educational experience. </p>

<p>The park’s attractions revolve around facts about space, the history of communication and agriculture. Additionally, an entire section of EPCOT is dedicated to several countries around the world, immersing parkgoers in the history and culture of a particular country. One of those countries found in the World Showcase section of EPCOT is the United States of America, which informs about the history of the US. </p>

<p>In a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCCy6JK34N0">clip posted on YouTube</a>, “Voices of Liberty,” an a cappella group at EPCOT,  gives a touching, moving and beautiful rendition of “Battle Hymn of the Republic.” Before their performance, one of the group’s members provides listeners with some background information on how the Civil War-era song came to be, which included $4, a poem and President Abraham Lincoln. </p>

<p>The amount and level of talent involved in this cover is staggering. There is not a false or missed note from any of the vocalists. In fact, their voices reach for and hit impressively high notes throughout the performance. Those are, without a doubt, several world-class voices who help to comprise The Voices of Liberty. </p>

<p>By the end of their captivating and emotional performance, the crowd showed their love and appreciation by giving the vocalists a well-deserved and thunderous round of applause. </p>

He is still in control, always working and ever faithful. The lyrics remind followers of Jesus Christ that He will never leave nor forsake us. </p>

<p>At the end of his performance, the entire room claps and applauds, showing their appreciation for Jason’s display of his God-given talent. However, it’s also very likely that they are showing their complete and total agreement with the song’s message.</p>

<p>While in the middle of a battle or a struggle, this idea of the faithfulness of God can be difficult to remember, but it is true. There will be times when our faith is tested and pushed to its limits. But this tune is an excellent reminder that God is a loving and always faithful Lord. He has never let us down. He has never given us any reason to believe He will start now. </p>

<p>Born in 1985 in Chicago, Illinois, Ricky Rydell Dillard <a href="https://christianmusic.com/ricky_dillard/ricky_dillard.htm">began leading the junior choir</a> at St. Bethel Baptist Church at the ripe old age of 5. Ricky’s mother struggled as a single mom on four, but her faith was strong. Ricky grew up going to church and hearing gospel music, and those early years made a lasting impression.</p>

<p>Graduating from high school in 1984, Ricky began making music professionally soon after. Initially, he played and performed dance and hip-hop music, but he soon returned to his gospel roots. <a href="https://www.crossrhythms.co.uk/articles/music/Ricky_Dillard__New_G_A_choir_whove_been_through_Hell_but_were_not_burned/30116/p1/">Ricky said</a>, “I don't criticize because I believe all music was created to praise God and all we're doing is taking back what the Devil stole from us and using it to please God.”</p>

<p>Ricky Dillard (a.k.a. Dr. Dillard) is surely a master as he effortlessly and energetically directs the throngs of singers and instrumentalists on the stage. While he’s dressed in a white choir robe, the other musicians are clad in dark blue robes and wear cross pins or necklaces. The ladies don blue organza veils. Their uniformity conveys a sense of regality and respect, but there is nothing stuffy about the way in which they worship!</p>

<p>The group’s dance moves, claps, and gestures are largely synchronized. Their smiles are radiant, their voices are powerful, and their enthusiasm is contagious! Ricky is highly entertaining—pointing, jumping, and leading his choir in a stirring song about hanging on, holding on, and enduring until God brings us through the hard stuff of life.</p>
